- No - LinksManager is simply a tool for maintaining your links pages. No automated link swaps are performed.
LinksManager.com customers have free access to our sister site LinkPartners.com. LinkPartners is a free categorized directory of websites that trade reciprocal links with other sites. After you login to LinkPartners.com, you can add sites you want to link with. LinksPartners.com will send a link swap request email on your behalf to the other webmaster. It also places the other link directly in your active links so all of the work is done. The other webmaster still has to agree to link to your site, but this removes most of the busy work involved with requesting link swaps.
LinkPartners in combination with LinksManager creates a powerful tool for locating reciprocal link partners and initiating link swaps.

- 6. Can my LinksManager-powered links pages be stored on my own servers under my own domain?
- Yes - Our secure FTP Upload Controls allow you to store your links pages on your own web server, under your own domain, at the URL of your choice. The process is 100% automated. When your links pages change (i.e., a link is added, modified, or deleted, cosmetics change, etc.) LinksManager knows, and subsequently uploads the changed pages to your web server. This way, your website visitors always see the most current version.
The FTP Auto Upload Controls are easy to setup. You do need to know the following information about your web hosting account. You will need to know:
-- Host name or IP address of your web server
A Host or Host Name is a textual name given to a computer. An IP address is a string of four numbers separated by periods (such as 112.24.3.456) used to represent a computer on the Internet.
-- FTP login username
-- FTP login password
The directory on your web server to upload to
The location of the directory on your server where the links files should be uploaded to.
If you do not know your FTP information, ask your webhost for FTP access to your server.

- It's your choice. You can choose to display only text links, text links with graphics, or only graphical links. LinksManager also lets you determine the graphical link size in pixels, and maximum file size. LinksManager makes sure that new link submissions with graphics fit under your size constraints.
