Menu: Link Popularity and PageRank
- Questions and answers about how using LinksManager.com may effect website link popularity and PageRank.
- 1. Does LinksManager display Google PageRank?
- 2. What is the best way to gain top search engine positioning?
- 3. Will using LinksManager help my Google Page Rank?
- 1. Does LinksManager display Google PageRank?
- LinksManager displays Google PageRank™ in the pending links queue list, and the modify/delete active links list within your account for all of the links in your account. LinksManager also displays PageRank on the individual detail screen for any link in your account.
LinksManager displays PageRank as an additional informational feature to help you make the best linking decisions for your link building campaign. LinksManager asks you to make linking decisions first and foremost based on what benefits your end user - and not solely based on the PageRank of a given site.
If a quality site relevant to your own site has low PageRank (PageRank is typically low or null for new websites), we encourage you to get the link and not reject relevant link requests based solely on a site's PageRank.

- 2. What is the best way to gain top search engine positioning?
- Websites that appear at the top of the search engines have many things in common:
- They have real content on their websites that regularly changes
- Their websites are well-designed and follow good webmastering principles
- Their websites are search engine friendly, meaning proper use of meta
tags, title tags, and basic static HTML - They link to other quality, related websites
- Other quality, related websites link to them
If you follow these same guidelines for your website, it is possible to achieve high search engine ranking.

- 3. Will using LinksManager help my Google Page Rank?
- Editor note: The only reason we have this question posted is because we get it so often.
Using LinksManager will not alone change your Google PageRank. While some webmasters believe that exchanging links will improve PageRank, we believe that you should forget about PageRank and swap links with quality sites relevant to your own. Ask yourself, "Does this site I am about to link to add value to my user's experience?" If the answer is "Yes", then link to the other site regardless of link reciprocation. If the answer is "No, this site does not add value to my site visitors' experience", then do not link to the site. Always make linking decisions on what is best for the end user, not the search engines, and you will have long term sustainable success.
Swapping links with quality, related sites, coupled with smart web design, and ethical promotion techniques are the best ways to improve your Google PageRank.
Many factors affect PageRank. To learn more about PageRank, or to ask more specific questions about PageRank, please visit Google's website.
