4. How reliable is LinksManager? What happens to my links if your server goes down?

LinksManager is extremely reliable and is protected from power outages with natural gas generators and other electrical backup systems. LinksManager is protected from network outages with multiple redundant T3 connectivity to the internet.

The data associated with your LinksManager account is stored in a unique secure database and it is backed up daily. If your account ever experiences a problem, we can easily recreate your links pages immediately by restoring a database backup. Our system has been programmed in such a way that allows us to track down problems quickly and minimize account down-time to you. We have the ability to troubleshoot any problem without having to bring the system down.

The LinksManager system is housed on multiple dedicated servers at Verio in Arlington, Virginia, USA. Verio is known for being one of the top five best connected hosting facilities in the world. Verio's facility is one of few that uses high-end ether-switches directly connected to seventeen (17) separate internet backbones including UUNet, Sprint, Cable and Wireless, CRL, Qwest, Exodus, Agis and Net Axs. They also have private and direct peering DS3's set up between their location and that of American Online and PSI-Net. And if that weren't enough redundancy, they operate their own DS3 to Mae East to peer with many of the smaller Tier One providers. If a circuit does go down, traffic from the down circuit is re-distributed across other circuits, thereby maintaining network integrity. Network redundancy is so powerful that network uptime is 99.98%.
