Your LinksManager service includes 24/7/365 support via our Helpdesk. Please use the Helpdesk if you need help setting up your account.

3. I just registered and made a mistake. How do I change my account information?

In the control menu to the left, click on:

Change Account Password
Change Contact Information
Change Payment Information

These controls are listed under Manage Account in the conrol menu to the left. From there, you can make changes to your account information.

4. Can I use one LinksManager account to manage multiple domains?

LinksManager is designed to to manage one domain per account. The link checker will only search for links on other sites that contain the root URL for the domain that you specify in your LinksManager account information.

For example: A LinksManager account that is setup to manage http://www.MarysAntiques.com would search other websites for hyperlinks containing "MarysAntiques.com" in the link URL.

Discounts are available for multiple account users. Contact the LinksManager Helpdesk to have discounts applied to your multiple accounts.

We also now offer Multi Account Management. To enable multi account management, login to your LinksManager account then under MANAGE ACCOUNT, click ACCOUNT NAVIGATION then click check the box to enable multi account management.

Once you have enabled multi account management, LinksManager will prompt you for your other LinksManager User IDs when you next login to your account.

5. Do I have to have cookies enabled to use LinksManager?

No, LinksManager is user friendly and non-invasive. Your user ID and password are all that is necessary to access your account from anywhere via the Internet.

6. How do I link my website to my new links pages?

Once your account is properly setup, you will want to make your links pages accessible to your site visitors. This step involves adding a button or hyperlink to the navigation of your website's pages that points to the web address of your links menu page. During the setup process, you were asked to specify the web address (URL) where your links menu page is on the web. This is the web address that you or your webmaster will want to hyperlink your website to.

If you had a third party build your site and/or you need additional help changing the navigation on your site, submit a Helpdesk ticket for more assistance.

7. Are there any limits to the number of links pages that I can have?

No, There is no limit to the number of links pages you can have in your account.

8. I need to change the domain name in my account? What is the process?

Due to security reasons as well as system logistics, changing the domain name originally assigned to your account at signup is not permitted. You CAN add a path after your domain name such as /subdirectory/filename.html using the second input box that follows the grayed 'Website URL' control in your Change Account Information controls. Place a forward slash '/' and then the subdirectory name or names that you would like added to your primary domain name.

Ex. http://linksmanager.com/resources where '/resources' gets added onto the end of the primary domain name.

If you wish to change the primary domain name of your account, you will need to first OPEN a new account assigned to the new domain name.

Then EXPORT the link data from the old account. Then IMPORT the link data into the new account.

The LinksManager support team will be glad to help you migrate your account settings and links from the old account to the new as needed. Simply request support via the Helpdesk system when both the old account and the new account are both open and active.

After the data has been moved to your satisfaction, you may close the old account using the Close Account controls provided in your control panel.
