When you refer a new customer to LinksManager, and their account completes one billing cycle, your account is immediately credited with one free month of service.

No - You receive a month of free service for each new account you refer that completes one billing cycle (one month). If you refer twelve new accounts to us, you receive a free year of LinksManager service.

If you referred a new account to us but did not receive a month of free service for it, there are four possible reasons:

First, the referred account cancelled service within the initial 30 day trial period and was never billed. You will not receive credit for this account referral.

Second, the referred account has not yet completed one billing cycle. After the account completes one billing cycle (one month) your account will be credited.

Third, the referred account is delinquint or their credit card information is incorrect. For this reason, we were unable to bill their account.

Fourth, you referred a new account to us but did not use your unique referral URL. If this is the case, please submit a support request at our Helpdesk, and let us know which account you referred and we will verify and add the referral credit manually to your account.

Also remember that accounts are billed each month on the day they sign up. So, if you signed up for your account on January 5th, and refer a new account on January 10th, the new referral won't be billed until February 10th. On February 5th you will be billed, as the referral credit is not yet in your account. On February 10th when the account you referred is billed, your account will recieve one referral credit. On March 5th, the referral credit will be applied to your account, and you will not receive a bill.

To turn off the "Powered by LinksManager" icon, click on the red LinksManager Logo - FREE Service! link from the control menu on the left and follow the instructions on that page. First, make sure you are displaying the LinksManager referral graphic on all of your links pages.

Second, go to our Banners page and download a few banners for placement on your website and links pages. Always use your unique referral URL as the hyperlink behind the banner graphic.

Third, include text links using your unique referral URL on your account's outgoing Email Notifications and your own personal email signature from your email program (Outlook, Netscape Mail, etc.).

Fourth, spread the word about LinksManager! Visit newsgroups, webmaster forums, and other places on the net and let people know your experience with LinksManager. Use your unique referral URL. NOTE: While we like to earn referrals and new customers, we are highly respectful of webmasters' rights and privacy. Know that spam and abusive practices carried out by LinksManager account owners to earn referral credits will result in their accounts being immediately terminated.
